What is a Child Advocacy Center?
A child advocacy center is a child-focused, community-based facility that provides a safe, neutral, and child-friendly environment for investigation and services regarding allegations of child abuse that could be criminal in nature. The design is to be safe, comfortable, and non-threatening, minimizing the trauma of the investigation process.
